“ We are visiting family in Texas and came across this coffee spot. The reviews do not lie. They offer specialty coffees and teas, baked goods, desserts, and hot plates. What a variety! Everything looked delicious. There's plenty of space to sit to eat, lounge, or hang out with friends. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We got their hot pumpkin spice latte, which was velvety and had the perfect touch of pumpkin flavor. It tasted like they use fresh pumpkin or pumpkin purée. I love it. Not too sweet with balanced flavors. It paired nicely with the pumpkin spice muffin. The iced De Ra pistachio latte was our favorite! I was expecting it to be very sweet, and was pleasantly impressed that it wasn't. the nutty flavor pair well with the velvety bitter coffee. They use quality beans. If I were a local, I'd be here every week. ”

“ Cute coffee shop with plenty of seating. Was surprised that they have so many pastry and dessert options and even food options. The workers were really friendly. Appreciate that they have self serve ice water for us while we wait for our order on a hot summer day. We throughly enjoyed our pistachio latte and affogato in a cookie cup. Since the cookie cup is a little smaller, the ice cream was really small. I would probably order extra ice cream on the side. ”

“ 2024 - Yelp 100 Challenge #18 Located in Plano, TX off of Los Rios Blvd is a local coffee shop serving up great conversation and good customer service. The owner was in when I ordered and there was a new employee. Customer Service was amazing however my order came up wrong and it was fixed right away. I ordered their version of an iced caramel macchiato and ended up with a tea. My order was remade correctly and I was even offered the incorrect drink to keep. I didn't accept because I ordered bakery items and had no space to carry it. Educators with a badge receive a 10% discount. Service is a little slow so plan for that before stopping. ”

“ DeRa Coffee is without a doubt the BEST coffee shop in the DFW area! Every time I go back home to Dallas, I always head to DeRa to grab one of my favorite coffees of all time... their D-Stachio latte! It's an iced pistachio latte with a shot of espresso (made with their house-made pistachio syrup) and it tastes just as delicious as it looks. The only downside is that the pistachio syrup is pre-made exclusively with whole milk (and they don't offer any alternative plant-based milks), so it isn't very inclusive :( Aside from their signature pistachio latte, I also adore their spanish latte and their pistachio muffin! However, all of their signature lattes (including the spanish latte) are premade with whole milk, so that's something to be mindful of if you're lactose intolerant! Hopefully they offer dairy-free alternatives in the future :/ DeRa is such an underrated gem in Dallas. I'm always treated so kindly by all of the cashiers and baristas, and love how welcoming and cozy the space is. Plus it's independently owned, so you get to support a lovely small business! Cannot recommend DeRa enough... a must try! ”
